Bodies of Water

Friday, April 29 2016 - Tuesday, May 24 2016

Peter Ogilvie’s new photographs feature two bodies; 1. the human figure and 2. sculptural volumes of water. The human figure is a container of water that moves with controlled deliberation, while the thrown liquid is constrained only by gravity and flows freely in the air until solidified by the photographers shutter. Both bodies thus become still form captured in moments of striking interaction, sometimes in harmony, sometimes in conflict.
